Heidecker and Wareheim (under their Abso Lutely Productions business) produced “Tim and Eric Nite Live!,” an online-only program that was initially broadcast on the website SuperDeluxe, using characters and sketches from Awesome Show. Terry Crews starred in a series of Old Spice advertisements in March 2010 that were produced by Heidecker and Wareheim. Heidecker, Wareheim, and Zach Galifianakis all appeared in a number of videos for the Absolut Vodka website. He appears in the scene for a brief moment before flying through the ceiling and leaving the skit. The program’s season finale is named “Step Up Revolution.” Heidecker portrays “Tim,” a VCR repairman, in the comic sketch. Heidecker made an appearance in “Half in the Bag,” an episode of the RedLetterMedia series. Heidecker appeared in a cameo on the independent movie review website Red Letter Media that same year. He made a guest appearance in the music video for “Watch the Corners” by Dinosaur Jr. Heidecker appeared in a Workaholics episode in July 2012. Heidecker also appeared in Bridesmaids (2011) in a supporting capacity and in Rick Alverson’s 2012 independent drama The Comedy, which also starred Wareheim. They also produced and starred in Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, co-starred in the Adult Swim special Young Person’s Guide to History as debt collectors, and made cameos in the films Let’s Go to Prison, VideoGaiden, Mega64, Version 2, and Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie. Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, the pair’s subsequent program, debuted on Adult Swim on February 11th, 2007. Odenkirk accepted the proposal and became the series’ executive producer before selling it to Adult Swim. According to their website, comedian Bob Odenkirk received early drafts of the show by letter from Wareheim and Heidecker. Tim portrays Tom, the show’s main character who frequently pitches his ideas to the Mayor (played by Wareheim) only to have them rejected, often putting Tom in a worse situation than when he started. Heidecker and Wareheim first gained notoriety as the creators, writers, and stars of the limited animation series Tom Goes to the Mayor, which ran on Adult Swim from November 2004 to September 2006. He later enrolled at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he met Eric Wareheim, his comedic partner. In Allentown, Pennsylvania, he attended and completed his high school education there. On February 3, 1976, Timothy Richard Heidecker was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
